the little things that take so much time....






























its hard to get a good photo to show where these things are but you can guess what they do. First they keep air pressure from going backwards to the rear.....second they make it so you cant peep your eyes between and see any 2x4's..they were easy to glass but hard as hell to sand. I have to sand even more on them tonite.

went and got some steel.....some angle, flat and 1" tube.....time to make the battery tray and come up with something to hold T15K #2 in place.

this will start to make sense once i show you guys what the bracket for the T15K looks like. This is just the beginning of the structure i am going to fab up to hold the amp in its spot. Oh, the new welder is working LOVELY

Today was bus bar day. I picked up some 1/4" aluminum yesterday and some Stainless Steel bolts.....hooked it up proper. Also primered and painted the amp rack black with a "hammered" finish. Im pretty happy with how it all came out.












It was scrap aluminum so you know it was dirty.....i took some 100grit then 260 and cleaned it up nice. It dont need a mirror polish, brushed is fine for its purpose. Plus it will never be seen unless you take the system apart

Ya, i know you like the how i did these fuses I just messed with them till i got them just right and they work GREAT!



















A little Rockford Fosgate 2/0 should do this project up proper

As bad as i wanted to toss these on the ground and bust out the hammer......and flatten these bitches out, i decided to stick with solderin them. Gotta do it proper or dont do it at all 16 of them took some time but its worth it in the end. Thats just the begining of the soldering ill be doing in this truck.

buss bars for the speakers fabbed up, 8 ga wire galore, 4ga speaker out to the amp, and some more 1/0 for the amps......lots of solder

8 ga done, now for some 4ga.....yes this is speaker wire. The buss bar has 8 ga in from the subs and 4ga out to the amp

well unless you like it, dont be too quick to judge it It looks REALLY good raw so with the mirrors and possibly a third tone (leather on the face to match new interior) it should look super tight. My digital cam has a hard time picking up something so dark black and at night......but i did the best i could. The box is now vortex'd inside and out (behind side rear doors too)....

Ok i got the 3sixty wired in.......got the mirrors in. Heres the pics.....
























a 3 ton floor jack, a piece of MDF, and 4 Powermaster battery boxes (cardboard).....used to hold top piece in place till the adhesive set up. Worked great!

got the alts.........2 300's........nice and chromed out. Only problem is, no plugs and no bracket.......tomorrow maybe? Chicken, if your lookin, Dom needs a raise.
