New Box For The Explorer - 2 Aa Havoc 18s (new Amps Installed 11/14/08)

Well I finished my box this weekend for the Havocs. It's 13.008 cu/ft tuned to 30hz. I didn't take any progress pics, but its built just like the last ported box I had my FI Q 18s in. Here's the thread link

Just finished painting it, so I gotta let it dry! This hopefully will be the last box I have to build for this truck! I plan on making everything look flush in the back area, kinda like Steve's tahoe. Will update as the build progresses!!

I thought about staining it, but since I had some paint and primer leftover from my last build I just used it. That birch does look good though plain!!!

Birch is alot lighter and does not produce as much dust when you cut it. I think birch is stronger than mdf. But it cost so damn much!

Put everything in, now I'm tired!!!

I just put it in, haven't played it yet! Probably won't til tomorrow. Gotta do some system tuning first, then I'll get some vids

Box also turned out a little lighter than I wanted. Gonna darken the paint and repaint it. Not today though!
