Well i was kinda late with the pictures but i guess never late then never.

I will be building a half wall with 1 15" Fi BTL. tuned to 50-51Hz, Sub forward and port forward. whoever has seen my car before they know that there always was a giant hole in the trunk to the cabin.

The box will be 5 Cubes with almost a 12inch port. this is just a trial box, might sound like shit, might sound good, dunno.

I will be making a changeable port to 33Hz, i have never had a box in my car tuned lower then 41 Hz. so I'm kinda excited on that part.

Pics :

I will be replacing the front baffle with a double baffle. the rear of the box still needs to be sealed off. just hoping this box will be loud.

I think it's too much port area, a lot of port area is good but that is a bit too much i think.
Hope you don't launch cones.
Is it 5 cubes before or after displacement?
If it's after displacement, then it's probably a too big box for the 15 inch sub.

EDIT: if you're going to put 4000w thru that sub in that box, i'm almost positive that you will launch cones.

EDIT2:If my calculations are right you're going to have around 4cubes after port displacement with bracing and displacement from the 45's if you do them, you are going to have a really loud system.

I agree its a whole lot of port area. Its 5 Cubes before displacement. i made the box so i can easily trim it down in size.

Props on getting to a good start. I just can't see why you would sacrifice your entire back seat for a single 15"?

Good luck with the rest of the build

Turning up a system to a level that has audible distortion is more damaging to your ears than listening to an undistorted system at the same volume level. The threshold of pain is always an indicator that the sound level is too loud and may permanently damage your hearing. Please use common sense when choosing a muffler!

Yea im going to do all 45's in the entire box, then use 1/2 inch thread rod for bracing. if it works well i'll resin the entire box also.
