FaTbOy911 Posted April 24, 2011 Report Share Posted April 24, 2011 Well i have been wanting to start my build a couple months back but had to deal with some other stuff now ...i am about to start my build and need to get it ready for shows asap a few are comeing up now Like most ppl here my first build wasent that great when my dad gave me my first car it was a 1989 Toyota Camry in exellent condition (3 years to 4 years ago) i was like what the hell old car but let me make it look nice so i bought some 17 inch rims and i went to Circuit City and bought some Sony Xplode speakers and Radio ,man o man hod do i regret that, and bought 2 pionner subs in a bandpass box with an DHD amp sounded decent for me back in the days....well later parents got divorced and i decided to move with my grandma to Guatemala man being here ppl had better systmes than me i was like wtf so i bught a Pionner in dash its exctly like the one steve meade uses for testing and a 15inch Db Drive Platinum Series with soem RF mids now that made a hell of a diffrence then i jsut starting waanting more and more. Till my system Became 1 Solo x 12inch Memphis mojo 2.5k amp with 2 pairs of 6x9 3 optimas full 0 gauge all on a Toyota Glanza Best Hatch i have ever seen google it lol....cople months back my car got hit by a Range Rover dam my car got all fucled up and almost nothing happened to the range. now i have to start with a new car so i decided to buy a VW Golf GTI 1.8T with a complete new build im going full memphis XS power batteries and a Mechamn 270 amp alternator HU Pioneer AVH-P4250DVD(Latin American Model) MIDS Memphis 15-MC42 on A-Pillars Memphis 15-MCC5 on Kick Pannels Memphis 15-MCC6 on Door Pannels Memphis 15-MCC8 on Door Pannels Memphis 15-MC62 in the rear memphis 15-MCS69 in the Trunk AMPS Memphis 16-MC1.4000 Memphis 16-MC2.100(for MCC8 Mid bass) Memphis 16-MC4.50 (for MCC5 and MC62) Memphis 16-MC4.75 (for MCC6 and MCs69) not shure how are my 4 inch speakers on the A pillars will be connected SUBS NOt Shure if im gonna go with 4 15s memphis C3 or 4 12s memphis mojos Electrical 1 XS Power D3400 2 XS Power D3100 1 Mechman 270 amp alternator 2 runs of 0 gauge Memphis Cable For now i have 2 spools of 25ft of Memphis Cable and a Memphis 0 Gauge Kit might have to order some more wire and here are soem pics of some of the stuff ill be posting up more awsome love these 6x9s there the synchronus series 12 guage calbe im going to use to wire my speakers this line driver was a gift from the memphis dealer in in Guatemala More Pics to coem soon Had an estimate of 6400 for an alpine/clarion setup dealer said it "should" hit around 160db with the custom boxes he was going to make for me..doubtful with so much area to move but, budget is way below that any ideas on cheaper brands for that kind of Spl setup? really didnt want to try any Boss or soundstorm, thinking Quantum figure around $150 per speaker "$1800 total" and $1700 to power it, first actual big setup for the van.
