Just recently got a mechman 270A for my `08 cobalt. Direct bolt on and it made my dimming go away completely. Pretty sure I have one of these newer units in my car cause you never made other units for my newer 08 2.2L ecotec?

You are correct, we only have the one design for these units. I didn't offer them in public for a while due to parts sourcing. Now we have a good stock of parts and can assemble these as necessary.

I have a 2007 Chevy Cobalt SS 2.0L, do you have a 270amp or 300amp unit for it? The Cobalt isn't listed anywhere on your website :(

If you have the 270 amp unit available, what is the output at 600rpm (vehicle) @ 200f?

Thanks!

My email has issues, so here's some quick answers-

Properly connected you will not have issues with the PCM controlled units. Keep in mind that the computer dictates the voltage and voltage is not the same as amperage.

US market Ecotecs work great with our units. What is called the Ecotec on other continents will require some information to be sent to my email, pictures and mounting information.

Nothing that will bypass the ECM. You could run an external regulator, but will see the battery light, and possibly the check engine light.
