kingsuv
Ok, so I finally have a car in the garage that is NOT an SPL build. What we have here is a little 67 Camaro looking for a small system. This will be a complete gut and redo of what was installed by the owner. Now he wants something done right and clean. I'm just happy I finally have something other then a numbers car to work on.The gear will be:DC 2.0DC 175.4DC LVL4 XL 15DC LVL 2 8'sRE XXX compsAlpine X305 DeckThe car has been in the garage for the past few weeks, but I haven't had any real time to work on it until today. On with the pics. Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out. not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.

kingsuv
Started out with the tricky part 1st. Putting DC 8's up in the kicks. Since the floor vents were deleted anyway, I decided that they would make a great spot for the 8's to be used for midbass. All I had to do was nibble and tab back the metal. Thios also allows the car to be put back to stock at a later date with no loss of metal. Little reference. Cover plate on the drivers kick. Little rivet nut action to secure the new kick panels. Now as simple as this pic looks, deciding how to make a sealed back in a kick took a few beers, a cigar then a few more beers to figure out. Space is very tight. Luckily I already know how these subs will sound in a very small airspace thanks to having a similar setup in the doors of the 250 Designing, building, and shipping boxes.
