rogue
Ok starting my build log on the latest project. My 2001 BMW X5. Plan so far is one Fi BL 15 in the spare tire well, so that none of the usable interior is affected. I want to be able to give a demo and then pop the hatch and have nothing showing basically. Goal is to be in the 145db area around 40hz. Will be running 1 JL 1000/1 and 300/4 to start and possibly add another 1000/1 in the future. No certain plans for the Mids and highs yet. Ipad as headunit with a custom bezel. And finally 1 xs power XP3000 for battery. Okay heres a few of the tear out pix. teardown 1 x5 by rogueauto, on Flickr teardown 2 x5 by rogueauto, on Flickr teardown 3 x5 by rogueauto, on Flickr teardown 4 x5 by rogueauto, on Flickr spare tire well x5 by rogueauto, on Flickr And the Ipad sitting in its up and coming home. ipad from rear of x5 by rogueauto, on Flickr 300/4 installed with Rivnuts JL 300/4 panel off by rogueauto, on Flickr JL 300/4 panel off 2 by rogueauto, on Flickr And with the panel back on with panel on by rogueauto, on Flickr Well thats all i got so far BMW X5 Stealth Build w/ IPAD BMW 325i Rear Deck Digital Designs Build BMW 325i Car PC Touchscreen Bezel Build
Blue
I know the xp3000 is not meant for under hood applications, but since the is in the back I don't know. Might want to hit up XS in there section here and ask them. And this shall be a fun one to do and keep it all hidden. Good luck. formerly known as Blue86f150 its a 4th order just because its tuned in the 40z doesnt mean it wont reach down and jiggle your balls at sub 30 hz frequencies. Regardless if they were dipped platinum and were stuffed in Beyonce's twat.....way too fucking exspensive this sux camel dicks

rogue
Did a little work on the bezel for the ipad today, some mach ups and trail error work. The square in the middle is just for getting the pieces lined up to glue so they stay square. IMG_1408 by rogueauto, on Flickr Just to see what it looked like before glue. IMG_1410 by rogueauto, on Flickr IMG_1412 by rogueauto, on Flickr And now CA glued together. Dont look like much yet but hard part is deciding on how it will look so im happy right now. Tons more work to do on it. rogue
Got the 1000/1 in too but forgot to take pics. But it basically looks like the 300/4 does, just mirrored on the other side....and longer. Should have pix of it tomorrow. Prob wont get much else done to it before next monday. I got work all weekend. Oh and i got a deal on some Morel Tempo 6 components so that will be what Im running for mids. Gonna try active and passive and see what works out best. Gonna run no rear fill, all front stage.
