Not to mention this is how many other amplifier companies operate. But the many engines are set up the same too, what separates them sometimes is not the science used, but the quality of parts used. The higher the quality, the higher the cost. And if Audiopipe ends up becoming a higher quality brand than they are now, the cost of their equipment will also rise which might go against the small niche they were trying to create. Either way, tuned in for the results. Not wasting my time to clamp or test any of these newer amps. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you? theChief Posted April 9, 2012 Author Report Share Posted April 9, 2012 Well just as an update the sound quality of the APK is much clearer than the AQX i had previously. It is hooked up and playing on 2 fifteens temporarily while i work on finishing everything. Once the build is done, soon i hope, i will do a series of burp tests. But so far with the gains set at a reasonable level the amp is clean as can be. I would compare it to a DC 5k that I've heard. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
