I didnt like the way they looked, they scared the fuck out of me i still run them... at or above 1 ohm there awsome you scruured? lol pussy if i need more power i buy a bigger or but the same amp and have 2 i will not go below 1 ohm ever again have had nothing go pop since then and that was years ago Yeah but i was going to run 4 of them at .5ohm each daily or 1ohm strapped...I didnt want to blow up 2g in amps so i said fuck it and bout me one of them nice Korean amps lol. - 1998 Ford Mustang - Time to rebuild. 4 15s and alot of power TEAM DTF Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Thanks No, Ohm's law works like this. Electrical resistance is measured in Ohm's In a parallel circuit, resistance is lowered. This is measurable with a simple formula. 1/ (1/r1+ 1/r2+ 1/r3+ 1/r4) = Final ohm load Your voice coils are the r, and you have 4 of them. so 4 4ohm coils in this formula are 1/ (1/4+ 1/4+ 1/4+ 1/4) = 1ohm That is the lowest you can go with what you have. Series circuits increase resistance. The only way to get more power, in a safe manner is to get a larger amp that does more power at 1ohm. To get a lower ohm load on that amp to 2 woofers, you need to use Dual 2ohm coil woofers.
