Pioneer~Saturn
I got the caged portion almost to a 'finishing-work' stage today, poured another batch of resin+sand and then followed up with a batch with mat mixed in to level everything out (roughly) and get ready for final mat layers ontop... And finally got my first layer of 3oz mat layed down overtop of everything and overlapping onto the car's factory metal...roughed everything up with a wire wheel and also 40-grit sand paper beforehand and will be roughing everything up again before laying down more but that probably wont happen until the back is built up to the same height then it'll be finished with ~8 layers or so of 3oz mat :hello: :runaround: And yes, the side panels are taken off for this that run along the roofline on the sides of the car. I will be masking everything off near the end where they sit to do the final bodyfilling work and paint...then they will go right over any imperfections @ the seems Team Tupperware <First dual-alternator 'real' Saturn (pre-2002) on the planet>(3) 15" Fi SP4's fed by (2) M3a's strapped @ .66712.75 cubes net @ 25Hz with 200 sq inches of port area (lowz...?)Stock alt position (custom bracket) 225 amp Mechman Roof = steel and fiberglass (u mad?)(2) XS Power D3100's, (2) rhino batts, No battery upfront (for now, smh)4 power+ 4 ground runs of 1/0-gauge to rear"If its been done before...you're doing it wrong" : ) "stfu about scores and float $hit..." Pioneer~Saturn
Poured a couple batches of resin+sand today... I plan on CA-glueing a sheet/shirt from the car's frame down to the outer-top of the horn and wet with resin, once cured this will basically make a 'tub' ontop of the horn that I can go berserk on with no fear of it flowing anywhere :runaround: :hello: More when it happens...
