Awww it's so cute!!!!

I'm sure the lack of power at 1 ohm is because it's not actually a 1 ohm stable amp

Flipping through the manual just now i read some thing and made me ask a question.

The wire sire they recommend is 8 ga. for the M55 and 4 ga for the M110.

I wonder would Alpine have done there power power testing with that size?

It will accept 4 ga. at the inputs, so that what i'm giving it.

Will that make much of a difference? or it's rated 580 you might get 600 if that, so don't even consider it type difference?

Not a gut shot, just a comparison of the year old MRP-M500 i was using with my SA-8 V2 and the new MRV-M55 taking it's place.

Switching cause it has a varible subsonic filter (0-30) rather than a fixed 15hz like the old amp has.

10% more power from a 13% smaller chassis YES PLEASE!
