The power rating certificate. The wire sire they recommend is 8 ga. for the M55 and 4 ga for the M110. I wonder would Alpine have done there power power testing with that size? It will accept 4 ga. at the inputs, so that what i'm giving it. Will that make much of a difference? or it's rated 580 you might get 600 if that, so don't even consider it type difference? Markous Posted May 16, 2013 Author Report Share Posted May 16, 2013 Not a gut shot, just a comparison of the year old MRP-M500 i was using with my SA-8 V2 and the new MRV-M55 taking it's place. Switching cause it has a varible subsonic filter (0-30) rather than a fixed 15hz like the old amp has. 10% more power from a 13% smaller chassis YES PLEASE!
