Josh Field
Amp does rated power at .5, does get hot, but never turned off into protect. I personally own this amp, and its very impressive considering I've used sundown, and dc. This amp actually puts out more power than the sundown 3500 did. Not saying its better, just put out more power in my setup. I like their micro technology, like how soundigital is starting to do. Enjoy the pics. the Second last pic ( sorry for bluryness ) notice the similarites (- Ford Focus Titanium LW sedan ) REBUILD IN PROGRESS STAND BY

banginhummer
it handles up to 16.5 volts, hopefully if i can find some 14 volt batteries, and clamp closer to 4500 watts from it, maybe more. Only down fall is the cooling, but that can be addressed by adding fans externally. *Hummer H3* HeadUnit Pioneer AVH-X4600BT Mids and Highs 8-CT Sounds Pro 8" 8ohm 4-CT Sounds Pro Tweeters Amplifiers 1-CT Sounds 125.4 1-CT Sounds 60.4 1-CT Sounds 7000.1 Electrical 3-Runs of 1/0 CT Sounds 8-XS Power D3100 3-Iraggi 300 amp Alternators Subwoofers 4-SQ Hdc3 15" Subwoofers (Soon to be 4 15" Ct Sounds EXO)
Johan Gustavsson
They had problems with heat with this amp so the 2013 version of the amp got a longer chassis for better cooling. ncochran
anyone know where to purchase either this amp or the sound magus amp for the prices talked about above? Can't find many retailers for them and sonic has the d8000 for about 2x the costs mentioned above. 2006 Scion xB 2 Sundown SA12D2 Ported at 32hz 147 on non termlab (140-142 on TL) Currently in a walled 4th @ 50hz (not metered yet) Hifonics brz2100 Alpine Type-S Components Kicker 300.2 Big 3 / Skyhigh 1/0 cca Optima Blue Top 3 e8s ported at 32hz 135.1 sealed on dash @ 56hz 135.0 outlaw (I must have chosen song poorly lol) Build log 'Brandon15zzz', on 09 May 2012 - 3:13 PM, said: May have been clipping but none fucks were givin.
