DylanBunch
My friend just got 2 vvx 15s and they're on his hifonics Brutus 2100 and we built a box at 4.7 cbft at 33-34hz with 14.5 of port per inch and they drop of right under 33hz. Do they just need to break in a couple weeks or do these subs just need a lower tuned box to hit lows? I feel bad cause I designed this box and he's already brought up possibly selling them after 20 minutes of being in his car lol 2006 Ford Explorer 2 Team AA/Sundown 15s 6th order Ct Sounds 7k 4 PRV Mr500 8s Rockford p1000-2 Team Subsonic Lows

DylanBunch
Well on skars website it says like 2.1-3.0 cbft for 1 15 and I figured even though 600 watts is conservative a box on the small-middle size couldn't hurt 2006 Ford Explorer 2 Team AA/Sundown 15s 6th order Ct Sounds 7k 4 PRV Mr500 8s Rockford p1000-2 Team Subsonic Lows
Swordlordboy1234
Mine played way down past 26hz after they broke in tuned to 31. When I first started playing them they could hardly hit 40hz. People want something to really bang with out letting them loosen up? Lol... DylanBunch
Well first the box was a tad over 5cbft but when I was designing it I forgot to add speaker displacements (mega noob move) and we already had pieces cut when I realized I didn't add the displacements so it ended up being 4.7. I also told him to let em break in some cause outta the box they barely moved when you press on them lol 2006 Ford Explorer 2 Team AA/Sundown 15s 6th order Ct Sounds 7k 4 PRV Mr500 8s Rockford p1000-2 Team Subsonic Lows
