Karkov
Hey guys, figured I would start my first ever build log. Keeping it simple this time, have had walls in the past in previous vehicles but for the first build in this current vehicle of mine I am just going with a sub box in back. This is going to be a slow going process so don't expect pics./vids. too often FYI. I plan on starting work over a long 4th of July weekend. Keeping the second row of seats for now, but who knows what the future may hold. Any questions or suggestions at any time please feel free to share. Karkov
2x 2500 and 4x t2 should go alright Mids and high ? Not sure yet. RF most likely, since i plan on going active not sure if I will get component sets or just replace factory speakers to keep the stock look but run them of an aftermarket amp. Got a lot of work ahead of me so i got some time to decide. 2007 Chevy Tahoe (SOLD) 12 ~ FI Audio X series 10" w/BP option 2 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @0.67 3 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @1.0 2 ~ PPI 3 way sets (not installed yet) 1 ~ RF T400-4, 1 ~ RF T600-2, 1 ~ RF T600-4 4 ~ CT Sounds 5.25" Strato comps (rear fill only) 1 ~ XS Power D4800 1 ~ XS Power D3400 8 ~ XS Power XP3000 160 stock alt, Mechman 370 Elite, 185 DC Power 320+ Sq. john253a
For sure you can keep the stock look, I wouldn't go active unless to plane to run a 360/epicentre Stick with the T series, and you can alway run through their crossovers until you have a 360 and more amps, Have you thought about what series, Never heard the t5 but thoes that have don't say nothing bad and put them in a league of there own compared to the t3 My self I looked at getting the t2 until I herd them (bit more of a pro audio sound) and i don't rate it to well off factory crossover, through an eq there not to bad, think it silk v's alloy But for an easy install the t1 and t3 and just nice the way they are

Yea, i had heard the same thing about T2. I want something better than the T1 so I think at this point I am going to get some sets of T3 and call it a day. I can run passive i suppose but most seem to be running active but then again I do not have the 3sixty.3 so passive might be in my best interest. It's not a SQ build so meh, the simplicity of adding some error proof T3 is sounding pretty good right now. lol thanks for all the comments and suggestions. 2007 Chevy Tahoe (SOLD) 12 ~ FI Audio X series 10" w/BP option 2 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @0.67 3 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @1.0 2 ~ PPI 3 way sets (not installed yet) 1 ~ RF T400-4, 1 ~ RF T600-2, 1 ~ RF T600-4 4 ~ CT Sounds 5.25" Strato comps (rear fill only) 1 ~ XS Power D4800 1 ~ XS Power D3400 8 ~ XS Power XP3000 160 stock alt, Mechman 370 Elite, 185 DC Power 320+ Sq. army_guy137
I'm definitely tuned into to this build! Being as I recently purchased a 2007 Tahoe myself, 2 weeks ago. I already got my Kenwood DDX-419 installed, DC audio 1.2K, 2 10's from another build while I decide which subs I TRULY want. LOL. I'm thinking 2 DC audio lvl 2 12's. Or possibly 2 RF P3 12's. Gotta keep some room in there for groceries. LOL
