Made a lexan cover and added some led smd strips today so figured it would be a good time to post gut shots on here of the aq2200d.

I did not. Since it will be mounted upside down (yes I know that is not always recommended) I didn't want to risk something small falling it and shorting it out. Also figured when it is mounted normally to a piece of carpeted mdf the holes are blocked and not venting anyway.

Only do that if the original case had the holes, otherwise it could disrupt the flow of air throughout the housing. And if you do drill holes do it in the same spot as the original.

Krakin's Home Dipole Project

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself

but what has drawn your attention

in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space

Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears,

thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.
