Kyle Varner
Hey guys, i've tried everything I can think of and coming up short... Have had these ZVX15s in for about 5 months now, LOVE THEM. When first installed, these two 15"s were L O U D.. (Thought my roof was gunna blow off) Have them hooked up to an SK2500.1 on a box tuned to 32hz (2007 Trailblazer LT) Up until about a week ago everything was fine I started noticing my Skar bass knob was being really sensative (Giving off feed back thru the subs when tapped) A few days later, when the Bass knob was turned all the way down, the subs would randomly give off feed back as if I quickly turned the knob up and then down. When music is on and the bass knob is turned down, it seems as if the 15s would randomly get more power ( Even though the knob was turned all the way down ) but only for a brief second. This will happen regularly. It just seems as if the teeth on the bass knob DO NOT want to sit on the "Low" position, if any of that makes sense.. I can try and clarify more if needed. Now... After noticing this happen, I thought no big problem, I will just deal with it and turn the volume down instead of dealing with the knob. I can't pinpoint EXACTLY when I noticed, but shortly after noticing the problem with the bass knob, but subs got quieter. At first I thought it was me just getting used to the bass, or maybe they were just getting beat in, but after running a bunch of songs thru them I just dont think that is it. For example, when playing "On my level" by Wiz Khalifa, the 28hz is substantially quieter. When before the roof would flex and make a TON of noise, now all you hear is the subs flapping. Don't get my wrong, I still have bass and it is still decently "loud" but I seem to be missing the "hard hitting" part of the bass I tried to explain this the best I could.. If anyone has had the same problem or has any idea of what I could try and do to fix the problem, I would greatly appreciate it. I've tried reconnecting and tightening all the connections, and fiddeling with the Gains, but no go so far.. Anyways, love the Skar products.. Keep up the good work

Rmichael91
The knobs have an issue of going out on us after a while. That could be the simple issue, just simple wear and tear. If you pull the knob and adjust your gains properly and they sound like they did before, then that's it. Could email Skar for another knob or pick up a pac lc1 from Sonic.
