06 Infinity QX56 C-Pillar 4 18" Crossfire xs-spl-v2 new videos coming

Recommended Posts

Have never done a build log always just built and enjoyed, this build is going to have some great challenges so thought it would be the perfect time to start a build log. Will be taking lots of pictures will start with the set up I had up until last week. The set up was only in the vehicle for 4 months, it sounded great got fairly loud but as all true bassheads I wanted,,, no needed more.

The journey for me started when I was young before I had a car I had a system, and well that fire never died. This will give me a great output to share my ideas and visions with others.

Here is a couple pics of my c-pillar wall before tear down.

The system consists of

4 northstar 110ft

1 d5100R xs power

1 d3100 xs power

6 Maxwell ultracaps 2.5 2600 farad

2/0 copper wire in rear attaching all battery bank

1/0 runs from front 2

Singer 250+ alternator

DDM4

Rockford Fosgate R300.4

4 sets Jl C series 6.5

Audio Control LCi2

2 AQ HDC3 18's

Using Stock head unit due to fact everything runs through it.

Best meter up to this point was 151.5 Legal at DBDrag show. It ran flat from 33-49 hz tuned at 38 with its peak at 47. This was with no deadener other than factory.

I will subscribe to this build NOW. Never seen a build like this in a QX56. Just yesterday I thought about how cool it would be to do an Armada. Good job man.

Question, what are you pealing there, paint or vinyl?

Thanks! That is vinyl had it on the front and felt on the back. Really like the look of the vinyl so will be going back in with that same vinyl since it looked so good with the rest of the vehicle. Vinyl is a pain the butt but looks so good when done right!
