Anyway, i researched these alot before deciding. 3 in coil and 1200 rms for $150? I thought it would be trash. boy was i wrong. VERY well built. I love it. New box build soon. But for now i am very happy. It is a monster my friends. Will be using them for my build. If any questions regarding the review on the woofer, i will try to answer them! I'm def going soundqubed on my rebuild and want to go with the HDC3's but if I can go with these and save a little money and they're not that much worse than the HDC woofers I might go with these.. DubNDodge Posted March 16, 2014 Report Share Posted March 16, 2014 HDC's have more motor force, better suspension. I believe the coil is longer than the hds coil. Granted they are both 3" coils. Only things I could think that would separate the two lines. I have an HDS312 and a friend of mine has the HDC312, identical box (I built both) Mine is on a crappy Power Acoustic at about 900 watts (estimated) his is on an SQ-2200 both in 08 F150 Screws and his is a good bit louder but that is expected given he has more than double the power. I would say you can't go wrong with either.
