I see other videos on youtube and there excursion is like whoa compared to mine. Although I don't want mine to move as much as some, being that I like to take care of my investment. Also what's your electrical like because I dought you are getting 2400 out of that hifonics amp. For tuning, I max out at volume 35, with eqs L +3, M+1, H+4, loud on low, Sla +3, the amp is around half. jarrius Posted March 21, 2014 Report Share Posted March 21, 2014 Hate to say this but you tuned wrong and could be killing your sub. Just because your gain is only at half does not mean your not sending a distorted single to the sub and that can blow it. Look around on the forum and see if any one near you had a dd-1 or oscilloscope and ask if they could help you. I was always told if using a amp you EQ for that should be flat on the deck.
