CHEVY DIY
What's up guys, So basically my dad owned a 1986 chevy caprice for 5 years ago and used it for 3 years and then he dumped it for the last 2 years. Two months ago we took it to a local body shop to fix the roof and paint it, and since I live in a shit hole country they missed up the car more than fixing it....and Im really pissed off. Since I really LOVE this car and especially Chevrolet and old school rides I decided to get it back to the shape it was when we first bought it. So what Im trying to do here is : fixing the engine ,the cabin, and install sound system in it, but I want it to stay classic as the way it is. Model: 1986 Engine: 5.0L .8V, 305 small block, and produces about 200 HP. And If you guys like this topic and would like to help me with things that I don't know I would really appreciate it. I will start posting some pics of the car after we got it back from the shop... Its really missed up and in need for reparation. CHEVY DIY
They call that a paint job... But one thing I forgot to minsion is that the previous roof was all rusted and the hard top or leather was cracking and leaking water so they welded a new metal roof as you can see. The interior is a lot worse than you think... CHEVY DIY
I will start disassembling all the interior and clean it and get the missing parts and replace the inside roof , remove the seats and the carpet and Iam planning to change the seats because they burnt the seats while they were welding the roof, Yes they are dumb ,......., and my dad is a Lawyer so he is gonna get them pay all the money they took and all of this damage. EP95
Damn. On mobile, so I cant see the paint well but the interiors trashed. Cant believe they burnt the seats. Gotta love the way those old radios look( or I do atleast). Figure they would have cleaned the inside before letting it go out, even if it wasnt part of the job.
