Will be running a HO alt. with the biggest batt I can fit under hood.. Will 1 D7500 be enough for rear batts or should I get 2-3 D3100s???? With legit 5k and legit HO alt and XS Power under the hood I would try 2 D3100 and watch your voltage with a good volt meter. If you need more then possibly add another but make sure connections are good, wiring is adequate, grounds are up to par, etc. etc. Everything plays a role. I would trust them, it's not like they would try to under sell their products.
