Ive got a 150 that is in need of some attention. Since weve moved into the house weve had water quality issues and the tank dimensions compound that. Water flow is difficult to ramp up without screwing up the sand. Weve got an ro unit and a dual stage di and still have issues with hair algae and red slime. Going to ramp up the waterflow yet again and see.

Try an algae scrubber, easy to DIY but they have some good premade ones available too.

I also am into the aquarium hobby. I've had many different tanks over the past 20 years. Right now I'm running a 27 cube with a couple groups of different tetras, and some cory cats. Always wanted to get into saltwater but I never have the time for it.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

Those are too much work, and need to be huge to be effective ..I think salt is easier , compared to planted tanks..

Yeah I guess it's all a person to person thing as to what's easier. Maybe I just assume it's harder since I've never done but I've had an itch to do it for the past few years maybe I should just go for it. Your tank looks great by the way. How often do you do water changes with a setup like that?
