Jay61913
What size box would be good for a single dd2512? What would be good size diameter for areo port? Would 2.8cu3ft be to big for 650 rms amp @4ohms? Going for Sq.
gr8handogoatness
So you ended up with DD? If I were you I would check the manufacturers suggested box specs and go from there. And why 4 ohms?
Jay61913
Not for me friends setup. Max is 2.75ft3 from dd. The box he had was over built. 3.06ft3 be for any displacement. Should box be smaller?
gr8handogoatness
With a bigger box you will sacrifice some power handling. I'm sure you could still run the 12 and be fine. Just make sure to set a subsonic filter. Get WinISD and model it to see how it looks. If its over 3 net then you might look at getting 2 10s. They will like it. BoomZoom808
A 2512 will take 650 watts and laugh at it even in that box. 2010 Mazda 3s 2.5L Pioneer DEH-X9600BHS Knu OFC 1/0 SS Platinum AGM / XS Power XP750 Alpine PDX F-4 / Morel Maximo 5 + Coax 5 IA 10.1 / SSA XCON
