Some clarification please, I just ran into this and searched and found this guys thread after really reading the rules in all their modifications and updates.

And nothing says that if you do not have 750 posts then you cannot post a question on an item that you are interested in buying from a member in the for sale section, it only mentions that you cannot post items for sale either thread or signature, etc; ie, create a thread in the for sale section, among other things. Please point me toward the section of rules that explains that I cannot inquire about interested items in the for sale section.

Is there a rule that we cannot buy unless we have 750 posts either? I can obviously PM but I don't want to be breaking rules if I am not supposed to be buying anything, PM would just be a work around to posting a question in someones f/s thread...

What sections of rules did I miss? Read top of F/S section + sticky by David...
