Krakin
If you want to buy some Google Glass, today Google is opening it up to be bought for $1,500. It's a hefty price tag, but it's for one of the most advanced pieces of technology out right now. http://www.google.com/glass/start/ Krakin's Home Dipole Project http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/186153-krakins-dipole-project-new-reciever-in-rockford-science/#entry2772370 Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist? Krakin
Shocker, lol. I'm sure there will be plenty of people that jump in on this though. Which will allow it to progress into something more public friendly. kingsuv
I understand the price. It's like anything else new. You will get buttrapped to have it first. What I don't get is why? WTF is it doing better that I need it in my life? I looked over the "what it does" and its a bad sell to me. Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out. not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.

Krakin
I honestly don't think anything will make it useful until it becomes more popular, to allow more programmers to make it useful. Also a few generations in, it may become more and more discrete. As in it becoming more integrated into glasses without being noticed. A good example I can think of that it could be used for is sort of like a black box; if you get in a wreck and you don't have a dash-cam (prominent in the US) or you get attacked by a person/thing and are in the right, this can be used to prove your case. It may also (through government intervention) be used to disprove the people that purposefully cause incidents.
