Phaeton
So i heard of this thing called "Daisy chaining" amplifiers together. I read that if done properly you can chain like, 10 amps together [not that someone would] and get massive pooowwwwaaaaa. only problem is if i remember correctly that each amp needs its own power source [im not sure about signal]. Now, how can this be done? is there some power and ground isolation things i can hook up to the power and ground to make this happen? i do really want to try this. 1997 subaru legacy outback Four 15's in a almost wall Rockford Fosgate t2500-1bdcp Rockford Fosgate T400-4 on tweets Rockford Fosgate T400-4 on highs Rockford Fosgate T400-2 on midrange Rockford Fosgate T400-2 on midbass Optima Yellow top batteries 270A Singer alt (working on a bracket for a second) Lots of Second Skin
OrionStang
So much fail in that diagram. OP, Google strapping, then Google daisy-chain amps. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

Krakin
Where in the world did you hear that?? Krakin's Home Dipole Project http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/186153-krakins-dipole-project-new-reciever-in-rockford-science/#entry2772370 Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist? I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener. OrionStang
I kinda wish I had 5 shitty amps laying around so I could try this. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

STEvil
If you had put them in parallel you might have actually done something feasible.. if you time corrected the signal to each one and carefully matched their outputs, among other things. As it is: LOL. MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.
