Karkov Posted July 23, 2014 Report Share Posted July 23, 2014 Who here is using a MLA module on their GM vehicle, and what are your thoughts on it? I was asked about this recently but know very little about it. I am thinking of running one myself if they actually work. I have a 2007 Tahoe with PCM controlled alt and ground sensor but am currently running Mechman 370 amp PCM controlled 6 phase alt in the factory location and a DC Power dual alt bracket with a 370 XP alt in the second location and am thinking brands don't matter and that I could possibly use this module to have them both charge my system? Thoughts? Both these alts put out massive power at idle, if I have to have two separate charging systems I will but if I can get them to charge together that of course would be best. moredbs Posted July 23, 2014 Report Share Posted July 23, 2014 i was gonna get one for my chevy. i talked to them directly and they told me it would trick the pcm into charging higher and not dropping down into economy mode 13ish.im not sure if it would help your alts running together though.it seemed a bit pricey for me so i went another route. did you try calling them and asking about your setup?i called on a sunday afternoon and was surprised they picked up,and happily explained everything to me.
