Call Me Dubstep Posted July 24, 2014 Report Share Posted July 24, 2014 So currently I have a Fi audio q 18 sitting right next to me, I bought a while ago and was planning to do a system with it. Now that I think about it, Im not sure if I actually want use the Fi audio q 18.... My question is would it be worth selling it and going with a smaller subwoofer for my 2000 ford focus zx3 or keep it and cramp it in, and lower my suspension even further ( my car is currently lowered about 2-3 inches). Its a tight squeeze but I think I can do it, but I am debating also on the other fact if I actually want to be able to use the rest of the trunk for other storage. I cant seem to make my mind up and thought I would get some opinions on the situation. If I do decided to sell the 18 and downsize, my question is, what subwoofer would be best suited for what i plan on running ( crescendo s1500.1)? I'm all ears on this one because im currently a rock in a hard place with this one. If you can get it in the trunk, just run wires to it and screw it down (no box) and completely seal off the trunk, just kidding, lol. If you can get a box to fit in there run with it and use the sub. I planned on buying an SUV, but with gas currently where I live at around 3.75 for regular, I decided to go with something smaller that takes 40$ to fill up at most.
