SnowDrifter
This is confusing me..... I had something with Brazil nuts in it, almost immediately my lips, tongue, mouth, throat get tingly. 10 minutes later I get a bad stomach ache. Not cramps, but a sharp ache. Whole thing goes away in an hour, but at no point do I feel like I'm going into anaphylactic shock. No tongue or throat swelling, no excess mucous, no closing up of my airways. Isolated it later with a plain Brazil nut to confirm and sure enough, same set of reactions. I guess I'm not entirely sure what to make of this? Do I need to start checking ingredient labels for stuff? No biggie? What has me confused is that I never had any issues with these as a kid ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
truthsayer
Allergies can and will change with age. But lips, tongue and throat being tingly is in fact an allergic reaction. It's just not a severe reaction. truthsayer

Tecomah
Your cells replace themselves at an insane rate. Average age of a cell in your body is between 7 and ten years, so yes it's not surprising allergies can change if you think about it. 750??! Yeah, fuck that. RooTxBeeR
Ya allergies change for sure. Growing up my dad always told me he's super allergic to insect stings. He would swell up so fast it was bad. I got stung dozens of times as a kid never had a problem. Didn't get stung until just 2 years ago, 3 days later was so swollen I couldnt move my arm and one of my fingers near where I got stung. Now I am allergic to them pretty bad. Broke_Audio_Addict
Just pay attention to what you eat and maybe get an allergy test done. Food reactions tend to get worse and worse with each exposure. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Gingeriffik
I would second that^^^. Get a test done, as this can develop inot a more severe reaction fairly quickly. A reaction is a reaction. <>< Collosians 2:13-14, Philippians 4:13, 1 John 4:7-10 2 - JBL W15Gti 2 - JBL BP1200.1 Knu 1/0 Wiring Kenwood KIV-BT901 Kenwood/Garmin Nav.
