Best Amp for Low Budget

So, To start off...

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_36000_Rockford-Fosgate-P3D4-15-Newest-Model.html

I currently have two of these, each requires 2.2 cu/ft of space, so does that mean 4.4 for the pair? My box is 4.6 cu/ft...harm done there?

And here comes the bashing....

My current amp is a Boss Armor R4000d. Yes, I know all about Boss and their ridiculous ratings. My guess with the whole Amp/Volt formula (13.8x120) at 80% comes out to around 1300, But it's more like 800-900 @ 1 ohm, or so. I got this amp for 30 bucks, so it did it's duty while it lasted, but the SQ is so horrible, I'm embarrassed to turn up my music (lolz).

Brings me to the whole point of this. Since I don't want to push the gains on my amp high, I want to go with a 1500-1800 RMS amp @ 1 ohm. (feel free to correct me). My budget is somewheres between $150-$250 ish, so I'm aware I can't get top line amps (Like my old JL 1000/1 I had). Two amps caught my eye, because they seem perfect, but they are getting bad reviews. I figured i'd make a post about it and see where it takes me.

Amp 1: Hifonics ZRX1200.1d http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_67917_Hifonics-ZRX1200.1D.html

Amp 2: Hifonics ZRX1500.1d http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_44489_Hifonics-ZRX1500.1D.html

Amp 3: Soundstream P1.1500d http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_79527_Soundstream-P1.1500D.html

Yes, I'm aware that all these is what im looking for. My problem?---Brands. Any advice on what a better amp for around 150 or 200 would be much appreciated. If more info is needed, Just ask!

More like 150w on that Boss. It's all good though, we know Boss isn't the boss. Your budget will limit you of course, but If you don't have the money for good stuff I always would say wait it out, save up and get the good stuff.

Try find something like Alpine, or even a Rockford Fosgate, at least they are reputable companies that make a good quality product.

That's the plan in the future, But im not running this Boss and waiting for the money for, perhaps, a JL 1000/1. I need an upgrade, asap. So im trying to find the best quality amp for that price range. I heard Hifonics tend to suck power, So I was thinking the 1500.1 so I don't have to set gains high and achieve my 1200 rms goal. They are CEA compliant, So i don't see why not. I've heard of Hifonics, But never ran their products. Im a Rockford Sub/JL Amp guy, but my budget is tight atm.

Best Brand/Low Price/High Quality...is what im looking for. I wouldn't see Hifonincs being a problem since I run 0/1 Ga power/ground/Big3. Just a little worried about stock alt/battery.

is my goal to go along with these P3s.

For now, Im trying to find something worth the 200 or so im paying for it.

Don't be sold on CEA compliant ratings, they don't really serve much justice.

I'd take the Hifonics, if that's all you want to know. It may not do rated power, but it will be better than the boss.

I was looking at the RF 500.1, But that would only be putting 250 to each sub, I want at least 500 to each. And its d/c'd from Sonic, but i found some on ebay and such

you wont find a good 1000w amp brand new for $150-200

edit: try to find a used american bass vfl100.1 or soundqubed 1200 like that guy said ^
