Hopesndreams
Ok so as the topic says I have 1 12" Xlm2 been playing it for 2 years now and its awesome don't get me wrong but im used to a pair of subs. I dont have the bank to put in another XL so I was thinking of buying a pair of lvl 3's and selling the XL hoping to get a lil more ouput. I am a basshead by all means so the more the better, but not having heard the 3's before I dont know if the pair will keep up or out due this monster I already have. Im using a RF 1500-1bdcp with a 1.8cuft box tuned @40hz as all the DC pros recommended for me with this amp. And I'd like to keep this same amp and power thus the reasoning for going with lvl 3's. Im looking for some input and opinions from the pros and DC gurus so let me know guys. Quote L
FknCrawler
I have 2 lv3 12s in a trunk on a DC 2k. Love them. Tickles the jugular with some Psych Morrison playing. I don't know if they would out perform an XL 12". Soon going to fire it into the cabin and seal it. corona_jeff
On your power hands down the 2 lvl 3s are the way to go. Also lmk if you want some. I know where a pair is pretty cheap
FocusOn20s
Maybe it's just me but wouldn't it be cheaper to just get another XL 12 and the box made for it?You sell the XL, buy two more subs after that AND the box? That seems more expensive to me but what do I know

I know where a pair is pretty cheap Thanks for the reply man. The other day I actually got a great deal on a pair of RF Punch Hx2 12's with a RF Punch 700s and box for $225, and last night I found a guy with another 12" Hx2 for sale. So im gonna pick that third sub up tonight and do a trio on my 1500-1 @2.667ohms which should be pretty nice honestly IMO. If you know anyone wanting the 700s amp let me know its up for sale best offer + shipping and I already gave the box away to someone in desperate need lol Quote L

Yeah either another amp or just one much larger and then I would need the h.o. alternator asap and yeah like u said its gonna add up quick and I don't have that much bank or I wouldn't be tossing up ideas Quote L
