Sundown Audio

Recommended Posts

Heres the thing my girl wants a system. She loves my e10s so this is where the vs comes in. Should i just get 2 e10s to go in her suv and keep mine or get me 2 sa10s to go in my truck and give her my e10s. I have a custom box to go under my seat both with fit. At 1.1cuft per at 30hz after displacement. Will i see more output with the sa10s over the e's and will i be able to tell. If not ill just keep the e10s. Plenty of clean power. Whats yalls input she couldnt care less

room under your seat for sa10's? The only thing that fit under the back seat in my truck is a clarion shallow mount 10. I envy your truck if you can fit real subs under there. If you can fit the SA10 under the seat I'd definitely go that route since you have to buy a pair of 10's anyway, may as well make it an upgrade for you.

You sure you have enough depth? The sas are 6 or 6.5" mounting depth plus they need room for the poll vent plus lifted do sub doesn't hit floor.

Also you'll be firing the subs down? If so you might run into cancelation

The box has 7.25in of mounting depth. There firing into the bottom of the seat with 2in clearance from the surround . I know of a guy with the same box but has 2 sa12s in it. Each box has its on side with port firing out the side into cab. I love how the e10s sound if i want get more output from the sa's ill just keep the es. Still new to sundown but not car audio just saying
