Pizanchyn
I'm looking to buy a 15" M2 XL and I was wondering if anyone can tell me what size and how many aero ports I would need in order to tune it to 32hz. Thanks! WCA Rusty
theres not real answer to that, box volume, port volume and port length area ll needed to determine a tuned freq Quote DC AUDIO Phone Number 1(855)SPL-DBZZ Built by Competitors, for Competitors. alaskanzx5
Its a 15, imo between 45-60" of port area in a 3-4cuft box. Look around at builds using those speakers to see how much port area and net volume people are using for them. Then build a box that fits your car with net volume and port area around what others are running those subs with Quote t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. WCA Rusty
I wouldent put it in a 4 cubic foot box, 3.5 is the largest I would use Quote DC AUDIO Phone Number 1(855)SPL-DBZZ Built by Competitors, for Competitors.
WCA Rusty
Also I assume were talking about NET volume, Lets say it was 3.5 NET then to tune to 32 you would need 2 4" ports 15" long each This would be about 25si of port Quote DC AUDIO Phone Number 1(855)SPL-DBZZ Built by Competitors, for Competitors. WCA Rusty
If again it was 3.5 cubes NET and you could get a 6" port then you would use 1 @ 17" long to get to 32 hz Quote DC AUDIO Phone Number 1(855)SPL-DBZZ Built by Competitors, for Competitors. Gladski462
Friend of mine uses a 6" aero port with his XL 15, 3.5 net cubes, I don't have any other specs beyond that, but it sounds great.
