Syphlyn
Hello, I recently designed a box with Joe X for my Zv4 and some people mentioned the port should be facing a wall or something similar. Here's my box plans Here's how the box will be in my truck, ignore the actual box just look at positioning. If my box is like this will I lose some/a lot of output? Or is it fine? Syphlyn
You can move box around and see if you like how it sounds maybe lay on side facing passenger door.. My back of my truck steps up so can't really do that. Just wondering if it'll be quieter it it's placed how that picture shows. It'd be pointless to build a new system then find out you're losing a ton of output from something like this... SlamminBeats
im not sure exactly how you get a pickup load no wall, but im gonna guess saying that is probably not the best placement but also who knows how big a difference it will make somewhere else. Just try other set ups. If your not willing to try or rebuild, why ask? be happy with it the way it is.

OrionStang
Since that seat is virtually unusable anyway, why not remove it and build something more efficient? At least something that allows you to face it different directions for testing. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
