here are a couple of questions that need to be answered before ANY recommendations should be given.

Kicker is somewhat sensitive on what kind of power can be used for a given box type. sealed sure 1000wrms a piece SHOULD be fine. However, ported, I wouldn't go over 750wrms a piece. If you call Kicker up they will tell you the exact same thing.

#1 what is the impedance of each voice coil on the subs? the should be either dual 4 ohm or dual 2 ohm.

#2 what type of box will you be using the subs with? sealed or ported?

#3 Custom made or prefab?

#4 what kind of budget do you have for this?

#5 Are there any special features that you would like to see in an amp? ( some have volt meters or clipping lights on the remote bass controls for example)

This is some of the information you kinda wanted to know

- Ported Enclosure (prefab)

-15" subwoofer with dual 2-ohm voice coils

-square SoloKon polypropylene cone with Santoprene rubber surround

-aluminum basket

-power range: 100-1,000 watts RMS (500 watts per voice coil)

-peak power: 2,000 watts

So in other words 2 voice coils 2ohm

Probably a 500$-600$ budget for amp

Also I wouldn't mind the things u mentioned in the amp special features I would like to know if there clipping and probably a volt meter so i know my battery is charging correctly and I'm not taking to much from the battery so my alternator can charge it properly.

What i personally would do is wire each sub in series(not my personal favorite way to wire them but in your case i think its probably for the best).

then parallel those connections at the amp for a 2 ohm load. Each sub in series = 4 ohm load. then paralleling them at the amp bring final nominal impedance to 2 ohms.

Basically an amp that will reliably do 1500 wrms at 2 ohms.

Your other choice would be wire everything in parallel and run an amp at .5 ohms. while some amps can handle this, i personally avoid it due to the heat generated.

From there now that you know the rough basics, time for you to window shop until you find something you like. There are many good brands out there.

I would strongly encourage you to build a custom box. In MOST (not all) cases, prefabs really aren't set up for your specific subs and vehicle.

I am willing to bet youll need to increase your budget a bit to get yourself into something that not only fits your power requirements but also has some decent quality to it. I can tell you from personal experience that buying low quality cheap amps is not worth it at all.

I am currently fighting some issues because i did just that very thing and bought a cheaper amp!

What kind of amp you u personally to commend to me for this type of system I mean I already bought the alt 395$ and battery 245$ then 0gage wiring for big 3 and power from bar to amp 50$ and I bought the subs 670$ So already have 1360$ invested in subs wiring and power for bat and everything so tell me what you would do for a amp recommend me a amp man :) thanks for the help though I'm not a expert on the wiring portion and I don't quite 100% understand the ohms eaither ik that less ohms equals less resistencia for power but I don't know much more than that so basically I would be going off of a wiring chart while installing this but still I would like to understand what exactally I'm doing please do give me some of your knowledge and explain it maby in a dumb way? Haha any way like I said recommend me a amp that you would use for this setup! :)

Thanks

Andrew

Get an amp to match the sub's RMS something that does 2k @ 2ohms....or take a look at Kicker's DXA15001.....it does 1500 @ 2 ohms....so 750 to each sub....and its right around your budget... http://www.kicker.com/D_Series_Amps

What about 2 soundqubed 750.1s strapped at a 2ohm load it's 1500-2000 watts easily for $410 or 2 1200.1s strapped for a little bit of head room and $540

i guess you didn't read where kicker said this shouldn't be done in a ported enclosure with the 15L7 sub

First things first, just so we avoid trouble.

what ever you do, DO NOT ASK WHICH will be the best. doing so will cause a violation of this forums rules.

Now, with that out of the way. Kicker does make a 1500 wrms mono block that would fit the bill nice in your case imho.

GassenD had a great idea with going with 2 small amps strapped together.

The main thing i will suggest is do your home work. Look at different brands and models yourself and make an informed choice.

Kicker, Sound Qubed, DC Audio, Crescendo and so many others out there that make good amplifiers. Do the homework and make a good informed choice from there is the best advise i can give you.

Just keep in mind what i mentioned earlier, do not exceed 750 wrms per sub in a ported enclosure with the make and model subs that you have. If you have any questions concerning that i would recommend that you call or email the manufacture directly. I know they will tell you 750wrms max on the L7 15" subs, dont take my word for it, talk to them yourself.

I see....you were talking about the actual box recommendations from kicker for the L7.....but did you read the note:

Solo-Baric subwoofers will handle massive amounts of power in any of the recommended enclosures,

minimum or maximum. The smaller enclosures are best for use in limited-space applications.
The larger recommended enclosures will yield slightly more bass at the lowest frequencies.
The listed Power Handling capacities assume that both voice coils are in use.
Always connect both coils in a dual voice-coil speaker.
