Box for 2 Dc Audio Xl 12s, maybe a 4th order bandpass?

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I got 2 Xl 12s and wants to know what boxes they like?

Im thinking about building a 2:1 ratio 4th order bandpass tuned to 40-45 hz something, what do you guys think about that and do someone know how big i should make the sealed and the ported to get the most out of these subs?

Sorry if the english is bad.

That sounds good. Tuned between 45-50hz with as much port area as you can get withor making the port more than 6-8 inches long

Do i need to have 1cub/ 4 cub with the subs/port in or without? Im thinking about tuneing it at 42hz, but i can make it so i can change ports though so i can try some different tunes :)
