hershy314
The family has a 2003 Durango that for some reason the heat is not getting warm. I've done everything I could think of to figure out the problem. I know the heater core is good cause some air does come from the vents. Far as I know the thermostat is good. Coolant is good. What am I not checking that I should. The controls were set on high. If the A/C is on it gets pretty damn chilly, but the heat seems to have a problem. http://athphotography.deviantart.com/ http://www.youtube.com/user/hershy314
GSanders17
Air coming from the vents doesn't mean the heater core is good. It could be clogged and coolant isn't flowing through it. Check the hoses that run to it and see if one is hot and the other isn't with the dash control turned to the completely hot side. It's also possible if you have just recently opened the coolant system for any reason that you have air in the system and that is preventing coolant to flow through it as well but I would think the vehicle might would overheat as well but that's not always the case.
