Best Port placement in a wall for demos

Port behind the drivers seat so you can roll up the pass side window and have them in the hot seat

My seat would basically block the whole port. I know this shouldn't be an issue since many walls I've seen are like this and they get plenty loud. But I always see the port being semi-obstructed and cringe just a little bit! :deadhorse:

I'm wondering about the same thing. I plan on doing a c pillar (still not 100% sure) but Idk if I should do a top port, side, or middle. I am leaning towards top or middle so it is all symmetrical.

you can still hot seat with a center port. i've seen a 60 outlaw done with 7k and a center port.

If I could get anywhere near a 60 with this next build, (Even though it's not a numbers build) I would hot jizz ma pants

I think its more of personal preference but I would go for port up :) seconded by port centre

people will say drivers port for demos but unless you like listening to the port the other 23 hours a day when you are not demoing i would do center port.

I also say go with a center port. I have a C-Pillar flat wall with 4 18's, center port and it demos fine. Makes a world of difference when you close the passenger window/door and open the drives window and/or door.

Top or middle port. Mine demos awesome both windows down, If I want to add more pressure on the lows(below 30hz) I just put one side up, Doesnt matter which either. If you are going for sealed numbers on dash then do a drivers side port. But I dont compete in Iasca so I could care less about sealed numbers.

Yeah my roof flexes but no more than any other build.
