If I wanted to add another 4 channle would I have to get splitters or what else is there that I can get ? Some 4 channels, like my JL 320.4, have a preamp output so you can daisy chain multiple amps together. As in RCA's into the 4 channel, Rca's out towards the other amp. Also has a switch to utilize one set of RCA's to drive all four channels (you'll lose fade/balance like this, but....) May not need to bother with Y adapters at all, and eliminate a few more points of potential failure in your wiring in the process. 2015 Toyota Tacoma Build Thread 2007 Mazda 3; 5000K HID's, Kenwood Excelon KDC-X997, Infinity Reference 6.5 comps in front and coaxials in the rear doors, JL 320.4 four channel, Rab Designs built ported enclosure with an SA12, Kenwood monoblock, Redline Leater shift boot/e-brake boot/center console cover, JBR short shifter/shifter bushings/rear motor mount. islandpride684
here is a suggestion, front output from the eq to ch 1/2 of amp to power highs, rear output from eq to ch 3/4 to power mids, sub output from eq to the sub amp using two Y connectors, ch 1/2 for sub and 3/4 for midbass... http://www.sonicelectronix.com/cat_i255_y-adaptor-rca-interconnects.html Build Log http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/186921-blk9te-07-yukon-slo-mo-build/page-3?hl=%2Bblk9te#entry2881410
bcbrassard
I used some high quality Y-cables to run 2 T400-4s for mids & highs and it seems to work fine in my setup. Many things i would do differently but thats how it worked out in my build. Didnt know enough about running amps in 2 ohm for multiple speakers. Then i bought a T400-2 to run door and kick panel speakers @ 2 ohm. The T400-2 has pass thru that i will run mid bass speakers off one of the T400-4's rear ch. I loose tru TA off the 80-prs but i can unplug midbass and rear speakers to TA and then plug back in and the front sounds pretty darn good. All would be fixed with a 360.3! lol
