afordable 'party barn' system

Recommended Posts

Need some advice as to some good package home audio systems or separate recievers/speakers. I've never done anything regarding home audio or surround sound. I am going to be installing a system in a square "barn style" party shack where I need a central unit to play music and want to mount speakers in each wall corner.

Looking for nothing crazy sq or high quality, but able to get loud without distorion and not be easily drowned out with "party noise"

I was looking at this:

Appreciate any input and advice

just get a decent receiver and put some decent bookshelf speakers or towers to each channel and set the sound field to All.

if nothing changes, nothing changes

Look on craigslist for used floor speakers and a receiver. I bought my home system for <100 bucks for reciever 4 floor speakers and two book shelfs piecemeal over the course of a summer. Not great stuff, but technics and pioneer aren't horrible. If you really want to build your own I hope someone knowledgeable can chime in.
