Kyblack76
6phase/hair pin for lower turn on speed. What does that say it does? Like 120 at idle? so maybe around 80-90 real world? Older mechman's that I have used that were 125a at idle did like 100+ hot at idle, OP, does your alt have a small pulley on it? b/c you might need a smaller pulley to get the RPM on the alt up to put something out at idle. Yeah it came with a small pulley on it, but it's not even putting out enough at idle to maintain a charging voltage it just drops right to 12.6-13.0. I was told prior to purchasing I should be 135-140 amps @ 6-700 rpm...lol my stock alt is 130a (probably does that around 2000-2500 rpm) and it put out way more at idle.
