First Big Build: F150, 2 Fi Team 15s, AB 1100.1, Singer Alt and More

Recommended Posts

This is my first big build and with all the information and help I've gotten on here, I figured I'd post a log.....here we go!

Equipment:

2 Fi Team 15s

1 AB 1100.1

Singer 320 alt, 1 Die Hard group 65, and 5 rebranded Deka group 31s

Doing 2 runs of 2/0 ground & power welding wire with dual inputs at amp.

Subs and misc install items just arrived today (pictures and videos of these subs don't do them justice....they're awesome!)

Using Arauco plywood that I picked up from a local lumber yard today.....really impressed with the quality (7 ply, almost non-existent voids, all around nice).

Here's a few pics to get this started:

Small update: got all the main pieces cut....still need to router the baffle (this will be my first time using a router so this should be interesting....luckily I have an extra whole sheet if I need it!).

Ripping these sheets took a little while considering all I used was a circular saw and homemade guide....a few of the smaller pieces I did by eyeing it which came out really nice but wanted to make sure everything was perfect, so ended up taking the time to set the guide for most of it.

Will hopefully start gluing the pieces together tomorrow too and then still need to figure out exactly how I want to do the bracing (likely going to be a combination of wood pieces along the edges and threaded rods).
