Totalnoob
Hey guys I recently bought some agm batteries and have a question about charging them. I have 2 total one up front and one in the back. If I have them in a daily driving system would I need to charge them using a battery charger? I read in another thread on here that an alternator isn't enough to charge them fully and that they won't last long. I was wondering if I drive the car a lot I would not need to charge them using a battery charger.
Lbox88
It's better for their health to keep them topped off with a proper charge once in a while. And decent chargers can be had for a reasonable price. Just don't get a Schumacher. UBL | Build Log

TRON
Having a charger is a good idea because chances are, you're not driving for more than a hour or two every day. For me, work is 30min round trip, and that's definitely not enough time for the alternator to charge up two batteries under the hood. So about once every few weeks I top off my batteries.
