Aj11 Posted November 7, 2014 Report Share Posted November 7, 2014 a 6 inch port isn't a bad thing for a 12..but you might have to much port. plus pvc really isn't the best. if you can remove the ports I'd buy 4 psycho Ports. you'll notice a difference. what was the tune you were going for? and how much shorter are they then planned? if were talking .5inches...a inch its all good. but if you cut inches shorter that could be the difference between 32hz and 40hz.. if that was my box I'd do 2 8inch flared aeros at 32hz subsonic at 27hz do you have port noise? also down to 24hz should be audible... very audible. i think you can hear down to 20 or 18hz after that its motor noise or port your hearing. i.think there's a issue with your Ports from what you describing...but I'm.not the best box guy jvc deck stinger 1800 front hc 2000 kinetic rear 2 runs of 1/0g big 3/4 ct 60.4 2 ct 1400.1 ct EXO 15 d1 lots of deadner type r comps front stage 6 kicker tweets rear stage lots of great stuff coming soon ho alt more bats ct comps for front stage more deadner sweet amp rack lots of L.E.D lights new deck (thinking 80 prs, or flip out) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
