mylesshivers
I would like to have sub woofers to enhance the musical side of music, or "sq", but still have enough thump, thump to satisfy my cravings. I have been looking at doing 3x E8V3D4's in a aero port box, pushed at 1200 rms(i think). Has anyone had this setup or close to it, if so how did it perform and handle the "sq" side of subwooferness. Thank you. Any comments, even negative, are apprenticed.
Triticum Agricolam
If you are more focused on SQ E8v3's would not be my first choice of sub. While they are quality, well-made subs, like many other 8" subs they can have rather peaky output. If you want to stick with 8" sundown subs, the SD-2 8s will give you a smoother frequency response, or if you can fit bigger subs than 8"s there are a lot of good choices.
