jmabrao
Well I was tuning my amp with my new oscope and for giggles decided to check out the output, am I doing something wrong? because 51.5 volts is quite high for what this amp is rated. What do you guys think?

Jessica
Without knowing amperage no way to tell. Could be 51v and 10 amps so 510 watts. jmabrao
So is this the right way to set gains? or should I be doing it differently, and as for your remark Kylar96 I was not bragging, I was asking for advice, so please excuse yourself off my thread. Jessica
Lol. You're fine setting gains like this since you are using an oscope. How much overlap are you planning on using? Jessica
When you set gains sometimes you use a tone like -3db or -5db tones because music is rarely 0db like regular test tones Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. Jessica
I think a lot of people use between -5 and -10. I prefer -7.5. Guess you could start a discussion on it if you want more info. Triticum Agricolam
Unfortunately just voltage doesn't tell us how many watts you are actually getting out. Did you measure this will the subs wired up or not? What impedance are your subs wired at? Kudos to you for using an oscilloscope so you aren't clipping the crap out of your gear, its nice to see folks use proper tools.
