Anyway, the top alternator, which is brand new, is charging just fine, the one underneath is not, this one was in my Tahoe already, in a dual alt setup. I used a voltmeter to test on and off on both my battery banks. One sits at 15v. The other sits at 12.9 Belt is tight. No slipping. So you removed the charge lead from the alt, and with the engine running there's no voltage or what? On Fucking Thanksgiving, great CS from DC Power Anyway we narrowed it down to a faulty resistor. He's building one and shipping it to me tomorrow for Saturday delivery. In the meantime I'll run all my batts off the one alt and run it that way.
