It currently has a ungo keyless entry that I'm pretty sure was hacked in by a local shop that went out of businesses around the time I bought the car a few years ago. Is that just vehicle specific or do all installs require relays? I went in to talk to a tech and read those guys, what a Clown! Kid couldn't even give me a straight answer about soldering connections. "uh it just depends sometimes I do sometimes I dont" far from professional and not very bright. Bowser91 Posted January 3, 2015 Author Report Share Posted January 3, 2015 So after three years I find out that my car already has a remote start it just didn't work right the whole time. After researching it I found out it was in override mode and the hood pin switch didn't work right. Now the only problem with the remote start is it just cranks it does not fire, however if the key is in the run position and I remote start it the car starts just fine. Possible cause?
