Phaeton
So its Canada and its cold here. Maybe -22C and i left my cell phone booster on in my truck and it killed the battery, Now my head unit wont turn on. I think it might just be the face plate because i took that off and stuck it on my defrost and at the back where you pop in cd's there was a little led blinking, so something was happening back there, but the display on the head unit wont turn on. SIDE SHOW
have you charged the battery? put the faceplate back on and press and hold down the reset button on the front faceplate........... this should reset the unit.... also make sure the contacts on the face plate are clean and are making good contact with the body of the deck

I didnt change the battery but i did get a boost from another truck. Maybe it was the 15.7 volts my alt charges at first thing in the morning? 1997 subaru legacy outback Four 15's in a almost wall Rockford Fosgate t2500-1bdcp Rockford Fosgate T400-4 on tweets Rockford Fosgate T400-4 on highs Rockford Fosgate T400-2 on midrange Rockford Fosgate T400-2 on midbass Optima Yellow top batteries 270A Singer alt (working on a bracket for a second) Lots of Second Skin

SIDE SHOW
yeah, means it's got power going to it, might be something like the accessories wire behind the headunit has become detached or loose or something not letting the headunit turn on. (prob check that first) did you use crimp connectors, solder or adapter looms?
