McIntosh/Audio Vector epic Home theater install.

Recommended Posts

I was asked by a friend to come look at his home theater set up as he felt the guy he had before working on the house was not doing a good job. Had my friend Mike come along with me to check out what the house had going on and found a mess.....none of the old stuff was removed that was outdated as technology progressed and we disassembled the racks and got a fresh start. The room is pretty cool. its actually a room suspended inside another room so it doesnt actually sit on the ground or touch any surfaces. The towers that he had turned out to be from a high end company called audio vector. They are a company that usually only sells in europe but they had imported here. After some research we decided that at $25-30,000 a pair we would keep those as the base of the system. Next we decided on the new amplifiers we would be using. We looked at some options and decided that McIntosh would fit what we wanted the best. Here is what we used.

Audio vector SR-6 Signature series towers
